Dawn Dunkerley
Dr. Dawn Dunkerley is focused on improving organizations to achieve critical business objectives and balance cyber risks while optimizing investments. Her research interests include cyberwarfare, cyber operations, cybersecurity, and the success and measurement of organizational cyber-focused initiatives. Dunkerley has published extensively in the field, both in academic and trade publications, is a noted speaker on cyber topics, and serves as a subject matter expert and exam developer for the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) for a number of industry-leading certification exams.
Dawn holds a Ph.D. in information systems, an M.Sc. in network security, and a B.Sc. in information technology, as well as a number of professional certifications, including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Information Systems Security Architecture Professional , Information Systems Security Engineering Professional, Information Systems Security Management Professional, Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional, and the Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control. She is also an editor for the Cyber Defense Review, with a focus on cybersecurity optimization and operationalization research.
